November 30-- Veterans meeting at the crossroad

The Redskins coaches called a veterans meeting on Monday where the group had an open discussion about their 3 game losing streak, all said there was no fingers being pointed and that the group remains united in the cause.. Gibbs said he was very open to hearing what his players had to say as they try to find a way to end the losing...

Injuries: H Back Mike Sellars did not practice (back/ribs) is listed as questionable but said he will play this weekend.., RB Ladell Betts (knee) questionable did not practice, DT Joe Salave'a (foot) was in a walking boot, did not practice and is doubtful for the STL game, WR James Thrash (hamstring) did not practice and is doubtful, DT Cornelious Griffin was held out of practice (hip) but is listed as probable with Joe Gibbs expecting him to play this weekend, T Chris Samuels (knee) was held out of practice as well, as has been the case in recent weeks he has held out because of "roughness" behind the knee, he is probable.. S Sean Taylor (ankle) practiced and is listed as probable..

Rams coach Joe Vitt wouldn't confirm who hsi starting QB would be this weekend, but Torry Holt told us rookie 7th round pick Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to get the call.. Holt said he had never been in a huddle with Fitzpatrick until the game last Sunday.. He ended up with over 300 yards passing, only the 5th QB to do that in his first game.. This will be his first start..

Mark Brunnell was definat about that this team is not out of anything as they head to the Rams game.. Everyone refused to look big picture focussing on the one game philosophy of getting themselves back in the playoff picture...
