November 27-- Chargers 23 Redskins 17 OT

Skins blow ten point fourth quarter lead, second straight week they have lost a double digit second half lead at home in a loss to the Chargers 23-17 in Overtime..

After three quarters, LaDanian Tomlinson had 66 yards rushing a a touchdown, by the end of the game, he had 185 and three scores inclduing the game tying and winning runs.. These are both highs by a back against a Gregg Williams D in DC..

The Redskins had their first 3 interception game and didn't turn the ball over for only the seocnd time this season, but despite winning the turnover battle 3-0, they lost.. Washington is on a three game skid for the first time this year, but remain two games back of the NYG and Dallas in the NFC East race as both lost this weekend as well..
The Redskins got their first interceptions by a corner, Carlos Rogers had his first career interception, Shawn Springs had his first of the season.. Springs pick in the closing minutes of a tied game gave the ball to Washington at the San Diego 31.. A holding penalty on Casey Rabach moved the Skins back to the SD 35, a 53 yard field goal by John Hall went wide sending the game into overtime, the Skins never got the ball back as the Chargers scored on their first drive after two plays..

DT Cornleious Griffin returned to the lineup after missing a month with a hip flexor injury.. The Redskins registered 3 sacks of Drew Brees, 1 and a half by Marcus Washington..

DT Joe Salave'a will have an MRI on Monday, he injured his ailing foot, saying it was not just a re-aggravation... He was uncertain at the extent of the injury following the game..
WR Jimmy Farris tweaked his knee during the game, but returned and team officials did not give an injury update on him afterward.. There were no other injuries to report..
