H-Back Mike Sellars was taken to Washington Hospital Center where he was expected to stay overnight after suffering from acute internal pain.. Trainers said they were going to look at his kidneys.. Sellars was hit hard on a punt coverage, returned for a later special teams play where he received a personal foul then did not return again.. X-rays in the locker room showed no breaks in his rib cage..

WR James Thrash left the game with a right hamstring injury, he will be re-evaluated on Monday.. The Redskins would likely have to sign a receiver to the roster should Thrash be unavailable to play next week and only 3 healthy WR's on the roster currently.. WR Jimmy Farris was at Redskin Park on Thursday and Friday anticipating signing due to the injury to David Patten.. He is a possibility.. The Skins also have rookie Steven Harris on their practice squad..

Kerry Collins got 15 for 21 for 236 yards in the second half including a 49 yard touchdown as the Raiders erase a 10 point halftime deficit to defeat the Skins 16-13.. The loss drops Washington to 5-5, two games back of both Dallas and New York in the NFC East..

On the 49 yard Jerry Porter touchdown catch, the Raiders caught Washington in cover two where LB Lemar Marshall had the responsibility to cover depp middle passes.. Thus he ended up trying to stay with Porter, a mismatch.. Ryan Clark said the perfect play was called for the defense, Marcus Washington described the situation as every defense has a weakness, the Raiders took advantage of this one.. Marshall is a converted defensive back (converted a few years back obviously) but has been touted for string cover skill,s still everyone realized the Raiders got themselves an edge..

The Redskins had to scale back their offense after the Thrash injury with only three healthy WR's on the field, only two being used in offensive formations.. Washington posted only 94 yards of offense in the second half.. Clinton Portis only had five carries in the second half, he totaled 22 for 92, but only 22 came after the half.. Portis also lost two fumbles..
The Skins lost the turnover battle for the 8th time in ten games.. After starting 3-0 despite l;osing the To battle, they have lost their last five.. Washington has the second worst turnover margin in the league..
Pass rush remained elusive for Washington as well as they only generated one sack of Collins..
